Tombleson Flower Gardens

This year we decided to go hog wild and we went to the Portland Nursery and bought 152 flowers for our gardens! 67 of those were just for my pansy garden! 

I got my very own indoor plant. I love it!!

Which we managed to get all planted in a few hours.

Easter at The Tomblesons

We had a pretty laid back Easter this year. Started with Bunny pancakes, then some egg dying and a hunt. 

We also put some peanut butter in some plastic Easter eggs and had Annabel hunt for them. She was so cute sniffing around trying to find them. She found them all!

Afterwards we went to The Hollywood to watch Kumiko Treasure Hunter before going downtown for some root beer and nachos. After giving up chips and soda for lent we were ready to dig in! (Even though we both had one cheat day where we are chips.. Oops!)

Fun At The Beach

After being stuck at home for the winter we wanted to get out and take Annabel to the beach for the day. So we all jumped in the car and headed to Cannon Beach. 

When we got there it was pouring down rain but after a little while it cleared up and turned out to be a beautiful day. Annabel had such a great time running around the beach, going into a couple of pet boutiques and going to Ecola State Park.

We loved all the little shops and especially loved Bruce's Candy Kitchen where we got some chocolate. I think Annabel's favorite store was Puppy Love where the lady gave her a bunch of treats, or the coffee shop where the lady gave her a giant dog biscuit.

On the way back Annabel was so exhausted she slept the whole way. I think she was dreaming of running on the beach. 

Kiss Me I'm 29% Irish

Well Jon is 29% Irish so I think that makes me Irish by marriage ;P

This St. Patty's Day was spent like most, eating some yummy food. 

We made sure to wear our green

And danced a little jig. 

And toasted with our green drinks

We made a yummy corned beef and Irish soda bread

And for desert some shamrock cookies 

Annabel may have had one too many cookies!
